Animals Art Exhibition Now Online and Ready to View

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its October 2013 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online.  The theme for this art exhibition is “Animals.”

An art competition was held in September 2013 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 13 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 36 different states. Overall, there were 581 entries that were judged for this art competition.

Congratulations to the artists who have been designated as this month’s category winners, along with the winning Special Recognition artists.   The gallery commends all of the winning artists for their artistic skill and their creativity, as this online art exhibition is indicative of their creativity.

With social media and technology we are able to stay connected with anyone of our choosing within seconds. We have a variety of convenient transportation options which allow us to travel wherever we desire. The development of the internet and the speed in which we can receive and deliver information keeps us tied together and constantly aware. Life is just easier to manage and we are all better off right?

For this call for entries we are asking the question if we really are better in a world of ever changing technology and constant upgrades. Are we more connected with the world and the people in it or are we more disconnected than ever? Show us how modern communication has changed our lives.

All international artists, professional and amateur and all art mediums will be considered in this call for submissions, from photography, wall sculpture, fabric, mixed media, all paintings and drawings including, oil, acrylic, pastels, ink, graphite, etc. Work must be able to be hung on a wall to be considered for the live exhibition, however 3D artworks will only be displayed online. Sizes up to 12 feet are acceptable. We are now accepting video and poetry entries for both live and online shows.

Accepted artwork for this online exhibition will be judged again for a collective live exhibition at our Pasadena Gallery set for April 2014 . The artists will be asked if they wish to submit their artwork for the collective exhibition, which is not a requirement to being a part of the online exhibition.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: January 6, 2014.
Cost: $35 for 3 entries, $5 for additional entries.

For this exhibition, we’re looking for art, poetry and short stories​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ for children that seems to be part of a larger narrative.  We want art the invites a young child’s imagination to expand the narrative beyond what they see in the picture, to get them thinking about what the meanings are “between the lines” and allow them to grow from the experience.  Send in your best interpretation of this initiative while making sure it is child-friendly.

Call for Art – Online Gallery

Leading Artist Online Gallery invites emerging and professional artists to submit their art for a juried competition and themed exhibition entitled “Botanicals“. Awards and special recognitions will be given to the top four finalists. The exhibition of the top four finalists along with their websites will be featured in Leading Artists Gallery. All winners selected, announced and featured in juror’s statement February 8, 2012. Extensive online promotion, local and international press will be given to the outstanding artists.
