Deadline: Nov. 15, 2015 – Call for Exhibition Proposals for Winter 2016

Propose an exhibition for Winter 2016 at Gallery 263! Our Curatorial Proposal Series provides the opportunity for artists of all media and experience levels to experiment with the organization and presentation of contemporary art, with guidance and support from the 263 team. Open to solo and group proposals. Online submissions only, see prospectus for details. New England artists eligible: MA, NH, CT, RI, VT, ME. For group proposals, at least 50% of the group must be from New England. At least 50% of the proposed work must be created within the last 2 years.

Two Fall Exhibition Options:

In your application you may state a preference, but your proposal will be automatically considered for both. We will choose two exhibitions.

  2. March 6 – April 2, 2016

Deadline: ongoing – 2015 Solo/Group Exhibition Proposals – Brainerd, MN

The Franklin Arts Center Resident Artists Gallery has two gallery spaces available for artists working in all mediums to show their artwork. Our larger back gallery space in dedicated to larger group exhibitions, through themed open call exhibitions. Our smaller front gallery is reserved for either solo or group exhibition proposals, consisting of artwork on a smaller scale, or only a few larger pieces. Our front gallery allows for artists to experiment, present new ideas, and showcase a body of work that is well planned and crafted within the outlines of there presented proposal. We accept proposals for this space on an ongoing basis, and are currently seeking artists for the 2015 exhibition year.

We accept proposals from individual artists, collaborative teams, and individuals who would like to propose a curated exhibition. Established and emerging artists, working in any media are encouraged to submit artwork, including but not limited to: painting, drawing, video, printmaking, installation, sculpture, photography, ceramics, fiber, and digital works, will all be reviewed.
