Fusion Art is pleased to announce that it is now accepting entries for the 4th Artist Spotlight Solo Art Competition. The gallery created this solo art exhibition opportunity as a means for emerging, mid-level and, even, professional artists to gain more worldwide online exposure.

Artist Spotlight highlights individual artists who have an overall body of work to showcase.  From this competition, Fusion Art will select up to nine winning artists – three traditional artists, three digital & photography artists and three 3-dimensional artists (if the gallery has received 3-dimensional entries) for individual month-long solo art exhibitions on the Fusion Art website starting in June 2018.

The gallery will promote the winning artists, worldwide, through its marketing and publicity channels and the winners will be invited to the 3rd Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in 2019.

Fusion Art invites submissions for its 6th quarterly group online art competition. For this, no theme, open competition, 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, are encouraged to submit their best work in any subject matter using any of the accepted mediums. The work can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction and all artists, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best representational or abstract art and photography.

Best in Show will be awarded to one winner in each category (Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography, and 3-Dimensional Art) and the Best in Show winners will receive invitations to the 3rd annual group show in Palm Springs.

Deadline: Jan. 26, 2018 – Call for Artists – OPA 27th National Juried Exhibition

Oil Painters of America will hold its 27th National Juried Exhibition of Representational Oil Paintings, June 1 through September 3, 2018 at Steamboat Art Museum in Steamboat Springs, CO.

Approximately 25 awards will be given with a total value estimated in excess of $100,000, including a $25,000 Best of Show. Convention events will include a wet paint competition with total awards valued at $10,000 in both studio and plein air divisions, multiple demonstrations, interviews, discussions and exhibitors. Juror of Awards will be renown Master Signature Artist Craig Tennant OPAM.

Deadline for online submissions is midnight on Friday, January 26, 2016. To enter, artists must be a citizen of the U.S., Canada or Mexico but can live abroad and also be a paid 2018 member of OPA at an annual fee of $70. OPA is currently accepting new member applications.

Contemporary Art Gallery Online announces their 3rd Annual International “All Women” Online Art Competition for the month of February 2017.  Contemporary Art Gallery Online encourages entries from all Women 2D and 3D artists regardless of their experience or education in the art field.  A group exhibition of all entrants will be held online at Contemporary Art Gallery Online during the month of March 2017.

Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican holiday celebrating the life of family and friends who have passed. Now celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world, creating a ritual of the living communicating with the dead, bringing rich color and history of the Mexican culture to this important event. We are seeking artwork in this theme that is traditional, contemporary, and experimental in nature that include imagery that is colorful and vibrant, of skulls, skeletons, alters, death, life, and other things related to the Dia de Los Muertos festivities. Artwork can be inspired by the holiday or be your own interpretation of the cycles of life and death. We look forward to seeing your creative submissions.

Please note, that specialized installation materials are to be provided by the artist. Selected works are to be delivered ready to hang and framed, if applicable. Contemporary Art Gallery Online announces their 3rd Annual International “Abstract” Online Art Competition for the month of September 2016. Contemporary Art Gallery Online encourages entries from all 2D and 3D artists regardless of their experience or education in the art field. A group exhibition of all entrants will be held online at Contemporary Art Gallery Online during the month of October 2016. Awards will be given for the top 5 chosen winners in the Paintings, Photography/Digital Art and Mixed Media/3D Categories. In addition to the winning images, depending on the amount and the quality of the entries received, Honorable Recognition awards will also be presented.

This competition closes September 31, 2016.
Winners will be announced on October 17, 2016.

Prizes include Memberships to Contemporary Art Gallery Online, Radio Interviews, Inclusion in the Year End Anthology Publication, Extensive Marketing and much more. Reflection is defined as “The throwing back by a body or surface of light, heat, or sound without absorbing it.” But it’s more than that. It’s the contemplation of the spirit and mind. It’s the light that bounces back into us and the darkness. It’s the thing that all sensation and thought evolves from. In this call for submissions we want to see your reflections, your take on all surfaces, whether physical, spiritual, mental or intellectual.

Calls for submissions are open to all local, domestic, national and international professional and amateur artists. All art mediums will be considered in this call for submissions, from photography, wall sculpture, fabric, mixed media, all paintings and drawings including, oil, acrylic, pastels, ink, graphite, etc.
