Deadline: Oct. 14, 2017 – 2nd “Artist Spotlight” Solo Art Competition

Fusion Art is pleased to announce that it is now accepting entries for the 2nd Artist Spotlight Solo Art Competition. The gallery created this solo art exhibition opportunity as a means for emerging, mid-level and, even, professional artists to gain more worldwide online exposure.

Artist Spotlight will highlight individual artists who have an overall body of work to showcase.  From this competition, Fusion Art will select up to nine winning artists – one traditional, one digital & photography, and one 3-dimensional artist (if the gallery has received 3-dimensional entries). The winners will receive one-month solo art exhibitions on the Fusion Art website beginning November 1, 2017 and continuing through January 31, 2018.

Artist Spotlight is an open competition. There is no theme and any subject matter and any media are acceptable. The artwork can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction and all 2D and 3D artists, over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, are invited to submit.
The deadline to apply is October 14, 2017.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed art competitions and exhibitions. Winners receive worldwide exposure, by having their work promoted through Fusion Art’s website, in hundreds of press release announcements, email marketing, online event calendars, art news websites and through the gallery’s social media outlets. The gallery’s objective is to promote the artists, worldwide, to art professionals, gallerists, collectors and buyers.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions and experiences.

Artists who are interested in submitting their artwork for consideration should visit Fusion Art’s website for full competition guidelines: http://fusionartps.com/artist-spotlight-solo-art-competition/.

Deadline: April 27, 2014 – Mono Pop Exhibition – Call For Art – Brainerd, MN

The Franklin Arts Center Resident Artists Gallery presents our May exhibition titled, “Mono Pop”. An exhibition combining two very different concepts and techniques within each piece of artwork, or on their own, depending on the artist’s perspective. The title Mono Pop, is created from the word monochromatic and the “pop” effect from something that is 3D.

Monochromatic: containing black and white, or varying tones of only one single color.Three Dimensional (3D): having or appearing to have length, breadth, and depth.

In this exhibition, we invite artists to explore one or both of these concepts within their artwork. We will be accepting artwork that is either (1) monochromatic, (2) 3D, or (3) incorporates both monochromatic and 3D designs. Artwork that incorporates 3D aspects can be both real and implied. This group exhibition will be on display in our back gallery space throughout the month of May. All artists that submit artwork, that fits the theme and guidelines, will be included in this exhibition.
