– The winner of our design challenge will be working with our Product Development team to feature the design on a set of six glasses uncannily shaped like beer cans.

– Judges will provide runners-up with a critique of their work, tips for marketing and growing your business.

Deadline: May 31 – UncommonGoods iPhone Design Challenge

UncommonGoods, an online retailer that specializes in handmade, eco- friendly and uniquely designed gifts and accessories, has just launched their iPhone Design Challenge, a call for entries of 2D digital captures including watercolors, acrylics, pastels, colored pencils, collages, photography, digital art etc.. The winner will receive $500, a vendor contract, and national exposure by being presented their catalog circulation of 1.75 Million. Guest judges will provide all runners up with a consultation and critique of their work, as well as tips for marketing and growing your business. Additionally, the UncommonGoods buying team will be happy to review full portfolios in consideration for future work.

After the call for entries, the semifinalist designs chosen by the UncommonGoods buyers will appear on UncommonGoods.com where the online community will vote on their favorite pieces to move on to the final round of judging. The top five voted designs will be judged by UncommonGoods Assistant Jewelry & Accessories Buyer Jackie Udden, Illustrative Artist Adrienne Vita, and Joy Deangdeelert Cho, Graphic Designer and the blogger behind Oh Joy! A winner will be chosen in late-June.

March 15, 2013 (Brooklyn, NY) – UncommonGoods, an online retailer that specializes in handmade, eco- friendly and uniquely designed gifts and accessories, has just launched their Art Contest, a call for entries of 2D digital captures including watercolors, acrylics, pastels, colored pencils, collages, digital art and more. The winner will receive $500, 5% royalties on a limited edition of 100 prints, and national exposure by being presented our catalog circulation of 1.75 Million.

After the call for entries, the semifinalist designs chosen by the UncommonGoods buyers will appear on UncommonGoods.com where the online community will vote on their favorite pieces to move on to the final round of judging. The top five voted designs will be judged by UncommonGoods Associate Buyer Katie Gianonne, last year’s Art Contest winner Matthew Amey, and Danielle Krysa, the blogger behind The Jealous Curator. A winner will be chosen in late-April.
