EXPO 37 is a fine arts competition and exhibit at the b.j. spoke gallery, 299 Main Street, Huntington, NY 11743. The show will be judged by Cara Manas, Assistant Curator at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Artists from anywhere in the United States may submit up to 6 images and/or two videos to apply. We attempt to show several works by each of the winning artists.
The deadline for submissions is November 11, 2017
and the winners’ exhibition will take place in March of 2018.

Paperworks 2016 is a juried competition featuring works made of, on or about paper: cut paper, folded paper, woven paper, glued paper, drawings, paintings, pastels, prints, photographs, paper sculpture, 3D, bound books, collage, mixed media, video, and installation.
Juror: Heidi Hirschl, Curatorial Assistant, Museum of Modern Art, NY. Artists may submit up to 6 works; winners will have up to 6 works exhibited in a one month show at the gallery in August 2016. Exhibition Dates: August 2 – 28, 2016.
Submission deadline: April 30.
Artist notification by May 30. Gallery reception: August 6, 6-9 PM.

Our juror is Mary Potter, Curatorial Assistant at the Whitney Museum of American Art. All artists living in the United States are eligible; all fine arts media are acceptable.
