Arizona artists are invited to submit up to eight works of art for consideration in “Art as a Means of Expression to Reinforce Identity” exhibit, for display at the University Club of Phoenix (39 E Monte Vista Road), October 3 – December 2. Guest curated by photographer, cultural anthropologist and educator Gina Santi.
Art in its many expressions undergoes continuous change as a constant and universal process shaped by our personal experiences, background, beliefs, and ways to relate to the surrounding environment. Art, in a number of ways, is a cathartic vehicle that makes possible the advancement of our self-expression.
This exhibit is open to original artwork through a variety of mediums and processes, including photography, 2-dimensional, monoprints, lithographs or giclée prints in limited edition.
