Art start-up Docent.co is launching a location-based platform for the arts. Recognizing that there are dozens of discovery platforms, art lists, and eCommerce sites, but no site that focuses on helping people better navigate the art world as a whole, Docent.co created the ART|CENSUS.
Now we are calling for artists to participate into our ART|CENSUS event.
The ART|CENSUS makes the art world easier to navigate by putting all of the information on a map. Pure and Simple. When an organization or individual registers for the ART|CENSUS:
● Their location is added to the ART|CENSUS Map
● Their name and a link to their website is also added
● ART|CENSUS users are considered for inclusion in the ART|BOX program
● ART|CENSUS users can add art events, shows, and links to other art sites
Who can join:
● Art Lovers
● Non-Profit Organizations
● For-Profits Art Companies
● Art Fairs
● Art Writers
● Art Managers
● 3-Toed Sloths
Deadline: July 1st, 2014

More about ART|CENSUS and Docent.co
Docent.co was founded in 2013 by Carnegie Mellon Alumna Jennifer Clarke, to provide art enthusiasts with mechanisms to build meaningful collections of art. Art is intimate. Technology has done so much to enable art discovery, but art isn’t just about discovery, it’s about life, every day, and everywhere. Docent.co finds ways to bridge the gap between digital experiences and real life.
